We are looking for a Senior electrical engineer with a drive to make the difference and who wants to learn new technical aspects.Electrification of the industry is just starting-up. Highly qualified electrical engineers can make the difference for numerous industrial companies within the Dutch industries to scale-up the effects of electrification.

You will work as a senior engineer in one of our market teams in our office Schiedam and would like to take the lead in some projects as well. Within this multidisciplinary market team, you are the specialist of the electrical part of our projects. Main aspects of your job: 

orking for multiple projects simultaneous

Working within multi-disciplinary and mono-disciplinary project teams

Managing electrical scope within a project, monitor planning and budget, and be aware of scope changes

Advisor for colleagues (electrical engineers and other disciplines) on technical aspects

Support developments theme’s from technical point of view. E.g. electrification and critical systems (NSA)

You are involved in drawing up key one lines, capacity utilization lists, and cable lists, and execute various electrical calculations. You write specifications for electrical installations (including low/medium voltage distribution systems, MCC's, transformers, emergency power supply, earthing, lighting, heat tracing, etc.). In consultation with other technical disciplines and with client’s representatives, layout drawings are made. You are deployed on acceptance tests (FAT) at suppliers and support the construction and commissioning work on your project. What do you offer? At least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Able to think holistic combined with practical knowledge

At least eight years’ experience in electrical engineering within the industry

Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams

Very good command of the Dutch and English language

You can effectively delegate defined scope packages to (junior) electrical engineers
